## The rules for tips

A tip supports the work and buys nothing else.

- A tip buys nothing. It never changes who is listed, how they rank, or what we write.
- We do not ask who tipped, and a tip cannot come with a request.
- If a business on a list sends money, it gets the same treatment as everyone else: none.
